In a unexpected crossover event that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has revealed an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying changes echo through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.

The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who successfully complete the adventure will obtain an unique katana alongside several items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
